The ability to read is a fundamental right, yet many young Filipino children struggle to grasp this essential skill. At Binhi English Literacy Foundation, Inc. (BINHI), we're working to change that, one child at a time. For our upcoming Online Kumustahan Event, we welcome both new and returning volunteers to join us and discover how you can contribute to our community.

About the Event

Founded in 2008, BINHI aims to improve English reading skills among identified non- and frustrated readers, aged 5-8, in public elementary schools and community centers through its 100-day free reading program.

As we began another BINHI School Year, we're kicking things off with a special scavenger hunt to help you discover the treasures of our program. You'll get to meet fellow volunteers, learn about our mission, and find out exactly how your skills and passion can help us grow.

Qualifications and Requirements

We're looking for individuals who are:

• Passionate advocates for literacy.
• Able to listen and pay attention to important details.
• Willing to commit a2 hours of their time on September 27, 2025; 10:00 AM - 12:00 NN.
• Eager to find more ways to get involved with BINHI.

Expect to receive an email at least 3 days prior to the commitment date with the rest of the details.
