Activity: (Virtual Volunteer Work / Volunteer From Home)

Please read the details thoroughly before signing up. 

• Volunteers will write uplifting handwritten letters, poems, short notes, and greeting cards to the DWACOI children (and their families). These are are kids with lifelong illnesses. You may also write prayers. This will be a month-long homework for volunteers which will be collected on October 26 ( date, time and venue for collection to be announced). Your messages of hope can help our families get encouragement and emotional support. The notes/letters will be rolled and kept for turnover to the families in December.
• You can do the activity at your own pace but please finish it before the end date.
• As a virtual volunteer, you will be providing your own notepad/ paper/ sticky notes, etc., and your own coloring materials  (optional).
• We will send the Google Meet link for the Sept. 30 orientation via email on September 29.

Commitment: 

• Must be able to drop-off or deliver the letters on October 26 (date and venue to be announced - Site: within Davao City)
• Must be able attend the online orientation on September 30 via Google Meet at 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM
• Must be willing to make short notes for children with lifelong illness and their families 

How this works:  

• Step 1: Attend the online orientation on September 30, from 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM, via Google Meet to learn how to do the activity. (Sign up by clicking on the Volunteer Button on this page.)
• Step 2: Do the activity within the month and finish it before October 26.
• Step 3: Meet our volunteers (Davao City, venue / time and arrangements can be discussed) on October 26 to turn over your notes.
