A strong earthquake has struck Davao Oriental, leaving many of our people affected and afraid. Houses were damaged, and aftershocks are still being felt. Families are now staying in evacuation areas, trying to get by with limited food, water, and shelter. Through our BAYANIHAN DRIVE, we hope to gather help for those who lost their homes and are struggling to recover.
Activity:
8:00 AM - 9:00 AM - repacking
9:00 AM onwards - distribution to barangays
Please expect the activity to spill over in the afternoon
Transportation will be covered
Volunteers are also welcome to share the following when able:
They are in urgent need of tents, clean drinking water, ready-to-eat meals, cartons, and trapal (tarpaulins) that can serve as temporary shelters and protection for their families.
All proceeds will go directly to help the affected families in Davao Oriental.
Let us come together in the spirit of Bayanihan. Every small act of kindness can go a long way in bringing hope and comfort to those who need it most.
Letβs continue to pray for the safety, strength, and recovery of everyone affected, and stay alert for possible aftershocks.
Together, we can help Davao Oriental rise again.
