With classrooms, a covered court, and a huge field, AECMIS provides its students with spaces for both learning and play. But Principal Leonard Deang Lobo knows that there is something lacking.
“A library can be of big help to our learners as a place for them to read during their break. Lalo na ngayon na palalakasin namin ang reading program ng school to our Kinder to Grade 3 pupils, malaking tulong ito para madevelop ang reading habits at skills nila,” he said.
Enter Urbayanihan’s PagBUS-a, a depreciated bus that will be refurbished and transformed into a library for Kinder to Grade 3 students. With your every donation, Lorence, Akio, Zeus, Ayesha, Daniel, Iya, Jhoela, Joe Chen, Aki, Carl, Earl, and many others can love learning more and lead them a step closer to their dreams.
Urbayanihan is an all-inclusive non-profit initiative anchored in the concept that wastes can be repurposed into functional spaces, the vision to raise awareness on sustainability, and the end goal to strengthen the bayanihan spirit and pakikipagkapwa-tao.
