Solar Panels and Bulbs for CDRC

Disaster Preparedness & Response | Dec 23, 2022 | Donation Program

The Citizens’ Disaster Response Center Foundation, Inc.. (CDRC) is a non-government organization that pioneered and continues to promote community-based disaster management in the Philippines. CDRC operates nationwide through a network of regional centers affiliated with the Citizens’ Disaster Response Network (CDRN) and through people’s organizations. Organized in 1984, CDRC focuses its assistance to the most affected, least served and most vulnerable sectors of the population through disaster preparedness, prevention and mitigation, emergency relief, recovery and rehabilitation programs.

This year, CDRC would like to focus on the revival of study areas that can benefit their community’s learners. CDRC’s wish this Christmas is to have 3 sets of solar panels with kits, and 24 solar bulbs to be installed in the neighborhood study area. Part of this goal is to also sustain their printing of learning modules.

With your donation, the CDRC study venue will be a more conducive and learning environment for the youth!
