8. Coastal PROTECTION from Storm Surge, sea-level rise, and tsunami
9. Healthy Mangroves Forest is great for carbon sequestration
10. Increase of awareness of the importance of mangroves, healthy forest.

Details:  We ONLY accept Happy and Grateful Volunteers 

• Registration fee : FREE( nurturing and maintenance of mangroves, snacks and Certificate of Conservation for all those who registered)
• ENCOURAGING LOCALS OF BALER, AURORA PROVINCE

Proper Attire:

• Cotton Shirt
• Leggings / board shorts
• Thick socks or rainboots or booties or aquashoes
• Cap or anything to cover your head from the sun
• sunblock
• Reef Shoes / Booties (NO Slippers)

Participants Need to Bring:

• Extra sets clothes (shirt, pants, underwear and footwear)
• Personal hygiene items and toiletries
• Personal First Aid kit
• Water tumbler
• Face towel or handkerchief
• Raincoat or Umbrella
• Scissors / Garbage Bag

7:30 AM About Nature Awareness and Conservation NGO and  Seven Environment Principle

8AM Start Lecture on Mangrove Ecosystem & Biodiversity, Communities, Challenges and Climate Changes. Solutions. Get to know each other. Storm Surge Debriefing

8:30 AM Mangrove EcoTour and  Cleaning up Baler Mangrove  Sanctuary (Bring Hat, sako, scissors. WEAR reef shoes, booties or crocs w socks)

11 AM Finish and wash up. Sharing of Realizations (OPTION: Bring food to share)

12 NN  Closing and End of Activities 
 

NOTE: 

1. just in case this event will get fully booked, we will post again for monthly.
2. You have the option to bring food to share or donate cash.
3. Just incase you still want to do mangrove clean up, your group can do it at your most available time at Munting Gasang Mangroves.
