The Philippine Jesuit Prison Service Foundation, Inc. (PJPSFI), based in New Bilibid Prison Reservation, Muntinlupa City, is a socio-pastoral apostolate of the Society of Jesus in the Philippines with a mission of rebuilding the lives and rekindling hope to our incarcerated individuals and their families by advocating for a more humane approach to their rehabilitation and reformation.
One of our programs is to provide scholarships to selected and deserving children of inmates. We wish to inform you that this SY 2018-2019, we have accepted a hundred elementary, secondary and college scholars.
As an inaugural activity for this school year, we recently held our General Assembly last May 27, 2018. As a follow through to the success of our assembly, we will be holding our Annual Family Day/Sports Fest for the Scholars together with their parents and volunteers on June 24, 2018, 9:00AM to 4:00PM at Covered Court, Muntinlupa National High School (Main), University Road., Poblacion, 1776 Muntinlupa City.
In this light, we wish to INVITE you to PARTNER with us in this very significant event particularly by:
VOLUNTEERING during the event. We need additional helping hands that will assist us in the logistics, food distribution, marshalls during the games, registration, Holy Mass preparation, choir, guitarist and other committees.
HANDING items that you may wish to dispose of but are in good condition (e.g. clothes, toys, shoes, bags, kitchen utensils and other useful home accessories). There'll be an ukay-ukay and it will be part of the attendee's incentives.
DONATING food items for the snacks and lunch and/or cash for the purchase of prizes. PJPSFI is a duly accredited institution by the Philippine Council for NGO Certification (PCNC). All monetary donations are tax-deductible.
