YOU are invited to experience New Bilibid Prison without incarceration by participating in our Community Engagement Program.

The Community Engagement (CE), a program of the PJPS, is primary established to raise the level of awareness and consciousness of members from the free society the realities besetting the people in the prison community. Thus, providing actively engaging participants (and through them the broader community where they are in) the opportunity to see a new perspective on the world and the way other people live particularly the PDLs and their families.

WHAT:           Community Engagement in Reception Diagnostic Center (RDC)

GOAL:            This activity are for those who have not been inside the prison facility and want to experience and have an understanding of how PJPS work in rebuilding lives, rekindling hope and restoring dignity to the persons deprived of liberty (PDLs), their families and the whole prison community in general.

WHERE:       Reception & Diagnostic Center (RDC), New Bilibid Prison Reservation, Muntinlupa City

WHEN:           29 Feb, 2019, 8:00AM to 2:00PM

THINGS TO BRING:

  • Simple MEAL (baon/packed lunch) for you and your partner PDL.
  • Simple TOKEN. It can be recycled or used. As your way of thanking your new found friend. You don't have to buy new or expensive stuff. Personalized is very much appreciated. Or you may opt to bring toiletries for their daily use.
  • YOURSELF. And be open with experience.
  • VALID ID with photo.

DON’TS:

  • NO wearing of any orange, blue or brown shirt.
  • NO wearing of slippers, shorts and sleeveless.
