Children & Youth | May 01, 2020 | Volunteer Event

Maglaro Tayo!

Join our Festival of Learning 2020! Our theme this yeas is the Rights of the Child to Play!

Volunteers and community members will come together for a celebration of arts, storytelling, song, dance, and theater for children living in poverty.

Together, we will bring the Festival of Learning to around 500 children in six communities: Manila North Cemetery, Pandacan, Tulay in Paco, and to three relocation sites – Balagtas, Norzagaray, and Calauan.

With your support, our children can have a fun & educational summer!

We need your help!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

We need volunteers to help us facilitate the workshops. Don’t worry if you do not have any experience of this kind. As long as you have a genuine desire to help children living in poverty, then you will be perfect for the role.

April 17-19 - Pandacan, Manila
April 24-26 - Norzagaray, Bulacan

The FESTIVAL OF LEARNING aims to provide educational, recreational, and cultural opportunities for children who have fewer opportunities to enjoy the summer vacation.

It highlight the talents and creativity of children living in extreme poverty and their commitment to making a positive change in society.

Altogether in Dignity (ATD) is an NGO that works with individuals and institutions to find solutions to eradicate extreme poverty. We had been conducting street libraries, art activities and educational seminars for impoverished communities in Metro Manila since 1989.

We regularly visit resettlement areas in Bulacan and Laguna, where some of our ATD families have relocated.

Our headquarters in the Philippines is at 1225 Labores Street, Pandacan, Manila.
