WHAT:     JOIN PJPS as Small Group Facilitators, 

in an electoral engagement project, in partnership with Simbahang Lingkod ng Bayan (SLB), entitled: The Right to Suffrage and Political Participation - 2019 Philippines Mid-Term Election Engagement. Alternatively called as "Kwentuhang Bayan" (KB), the electoral engagement project aims to reconnect constituents with the local candidates for mid-term elections 2019, through the stories and issues from their different communities. 

WHERE:     Ina ng Awa Parish Multi-Purpose Hall, New Bilibid Prison Reservation, Muntinlupa City. (Nearest toll exit: Susana Heights). 

THINGS TO BRING:          

- extra shirt as it is warmer in Bilibid during April to June

- yourself and openness to experience

THINGS TO DO BEFORE GOING:               

- Be familiar with the programme, and the details on its module, i.e. objectives through the document we will send to you. 

- Attend our short Orientation on April 13, 2019, 10:30AM to 12:00NN . This will be an opportunity for you to know more about the project and build camaraderie among the volunteers.

The sovereign will of the people should win in an election. It is this will to participate in the election of officials that determines the kind of democratic government that will eventually be established. Your role as facilitators is important because you influences the development of our country and help inform voters on issues such as why they should participate and raise the political consciousness of the electorate towards a responsible, democratic, and sustained participation in the electoral and governance processes.
