What is ATD Fourth World Philippines?
All Together in Dignity (ATD) Fourth World is an international non-governmental organization with no religious or political affiliation who works with individuals and institutions to find solutions to eradicate extreme poverty. ATD works in partnership with people living in extreme poverty. It's human rights-based approach focuses on supporting families and individuals through its grassroots presence and involvement in disadvantaged communities, in urban and rural areas. It creates public awareness of extreme poverty and influences policies to address it.

Why do we need volunteers?

We need you because we regularly record the voice of people in extreme poverty. For us it is very important to keep track of what people have to say regarding their lives and aspirations. We need you to help us transcribe these recordings / texts from Tagalog into English.

At the moment we also need your help to translate in particular the scripts of 2 short films shot last year during the pandemic, on the occasion of the International Day for the Eradication of Extreme Poverty. The films are originally in Tagalog and we would like to subtitle them in English, so we need to translate the scripts into English first. We would be happy to send you the documents if you agree to translate them!
