Tree Planting Objectives and Benefits

  1. A Healthy Forest means a healthy society and future
  2. Alleviate the climate change impact and increase in biodiversity
  3. Additional livelihood for the marginalized coastal and Upland farm communities
  4. Healing and rehabilitation from pandemic
  5. Educational venue for the volunteers
  6. Great for the mental health of the volunteer tree planters.
  7. Prevent soil erosions, coastal flooding, and ocean pollution
  8. Coastal PROTECTION from Storm Surge, sea-level rise, and tsunami
  9. Healthy Mangroves Forest is great for carbon sequestration
  10. Increase of awareness of the importance of mangroves, healthy forest.

Details:

  • Registration fee : FREE( Unlimited Progagules, labor for the local guides, nurturing and maintenance, snacks and Certificate of Conservation for all those who registered
  • For those who didn't register, the Certificate of Conservation is P 100
  • DONATIONS are most welcome and highly appreciated (raincoats / umbrella for 100 students)
  • Travel from Manila and Baler Accommodation at your own Expense

Proper Attire:

  • Cotton Shirt
  • Leggings / board shorts
  • Thick socks or rainboots or booties or aquashoes
  • Cap or anything to cover your head from the sun

Participants Need to Bring:

  • Extra sets clothes (shirt, pants, underwear and footwear)
  • Personal hygiene items and toiletries
  • Personal First Aid kit
  • Water tumbler
  • Face towel or handkerchief
  • Raincoat or Umbrella

Q: How to go to Baler, Aurora Province? Book you accommodation at Dela Torre Beach Resort, Baler 

A: 1. Private Car and Pin to Google Earth Baler Fish Port

     2. Take a bus the night before. Genesis 10PM & 11 PM, or same day Joybus 12:30AM 1AM 2AM (Reservation is needed in advance)

          From Baler Bus Terminal, take tricycle to the Fishport (P 150 per way good for 3pax)

Q: Can we swim. 
A: Yes, Enjoy at the fishport or sabang 

Q: What if we paid P 100 for the certificate and can't make it or miss the event?

A: We will still plant your trees and give you Certificate of Conservation and Social Responsibility

Q. Can our Company have our own Private Exclusive private tree planting?

A. Yes, any day from Monday to Saturday at CSR Rate. also available in Batangas, Quezon Province, Bulacan, Bataan, La Union and Aurora Province

ITINERARY (Transportation from Manila to Baler & Back, food and accommodation are pax account)

2 PM Assembly at Fish Port  Start Lecture on Mangrove Ecosystem & Biodiversity, Communities, Challenges and Climate Changes. Solutions. Get to know each other. 

3 PM Start Mangrove Tree Planting Cleaning up Baler Mangrove and Seagrass Sanctuary

4:30 PM Finish and wash up. Enjoy Baler Sumang Baler and Tea while Sharing experience

5 PM Closing and End of Activities 

OPTION to enjoy FREE Tour in other mangrove site, 

 Lunch (Binalot na Adobong Baler w unlimited Pako Salad P 177)
